Your First Visit
I've never been waxed. What happens at my first visit?
Totally normal to be nervous. We've seen it all and judge none of it. Your esthetician chats with you first about what you want, then waxes in small sections and checks on you as you go. Booking a Brazilian? Our Brazilian guide walks you through it.
How do I get ready for my first wax?
Put the razor down and let your hair grow to about 1/4 inch, the size of a grain of rice. If you've been shaving, that's about two weeks. Skip the tweezers, and arrive 5 to 10 minutes early for a quick new client form. Not sure what to book? Every price is on our service menu.
Do I need to tell you about my medications?
Yes! Yes! Yes! Tell us if you use retinol, retinoids or acne medications, or if any of your meds have changed since your last visit. These can affect whether waxing is a good idea that day. Not sure? Check with your doctor first.
Will I be in a private room?
Always. Every room at Bee's Knees is private. Door closed, just you and your esthetician.
What's normal after my first wax?
A little redness, tenderness or a few small bumps can show up. They usually calm down within 24 to 48 hours. If something doesn't feel right, call or text us. Anything that seems medical, call your doctor.
I'm on my period. Should I cancel?
No worries, this happens all the time. Wear a tampon and, if you're comfortable, keep your appointment. If not, give us a buzz and we'll reschedule.
Can I bring someone into the room?
We ask that only the person getting the service comes into the treatment room.
Should I exfoliate before my wax?
Yes, exfoliate before you come in.
Waxing Basics
How often should I come in?
Every 4 to 6 weeks is the sweet spot, and waxing gets drastically better when you're consistent. Face regulars often come in every week or two, since facial hair grows back faster. Book your next one before you leave.
Does waxing hurt?
There's a quick sting, and then it's done. We work in small sections and check in with you the whole time. If something feels like too much, tell us and we'll pause and adjust.
How do you keep things clean?
Fresh gloves, a fresh stick every single dip (no double-dipping, ever), and a disinfected table between every client.
Do you wax arms, legs and backs?
Yes. Half Legs are $60, Full Legs are $89, Full Arms are $60 and Chest or Back is $55. Every body price is on our service menu.
How do underarm touch ups work?
Back within 3 weeks of your underarm wax? The Underarms Touch Up is $23, or $20 on our men's menu. Regular underarms are $28.
Do you wax men?
Yes! Guys, you're welcome here. Brows, back, chest and full manscaping, all in a private room.
Does everyone react to waxing?
No, every skin type reacts differently. If you're worried, come in and we can wax a small area first to see how your skin does.
Brazilian & Bikini
How much is a Brazilian wax?
A Full Brazilian is $89. A Basic Bikini is $62 and Bikini Plus is $75. No tipping and no hidden fees. The total is the total.
What's the difference between Basic Bikini, Bikini Plus and Full Brazilian?
Basic Bikini is anything outside the underwear line, 2 to 3 inches outside the bikini line. Bikini Plus adds all the hair off the top, or you can leave a triangle or strip, with no labia. Full Brazilian adds all the hair off the top and the labia. Every bikini service includes the inner back strip if you want it.
How long does a Brazilian take?
A Full Brazilian takes about 45 minutes. Basic Bikini, Bikini Plus and the 2-Week Touch Up Brazilian each take about 30 minutes.
How does the 2-Week Touch Up Brazilian work?
Come back within 2 weeks of a full price Full Brazilian and your touch up is $62. It takes about 30 minutes.
What should I do after my Brazilian?
For 24 hours, skip hot tubs and sweaty workouts. Wear loose undies. After a few days, start exfoliating. If something doesn't feel right, call or text us.
Can I add brows to my Brazilian?
Love that for you. A Brow & Brazilian is $119, and a Brow, Lip & Brazilian is $135.
Brows & Face
How much is a brow wax?
Brows are $30. A Brow Wax & Tint is $50, and a Brow Tint on its own is $28.
Can you wax my lip, chin or nose?
Yes. Lip, chin, nose and sideburns are $22 each. Brow & Lip is $48, Brow, Lip & Chin is $68, and a Full Face with Brows & Nose is $80.
What should I do after a face wax?
A little redness or a few small bumps can show up, and they usually calm down within 24 to 48 hours. For the rest of the day, keep it simple: hands off, and skip heavy makeup, scrubs, and a lot of heat or sun on the area.
Should I tweeze between visits?
Try not to tweeze or shave between visits, so your hair stays on one schedule. Skip tweezing right before you come in, too, so we have something to grab.
Smooth Face Package
What does the Smooth Face Package cover?
Everything from the nostrils down, in one visit: nose, upper lip, chin, jawline, sideburns, cheeks, and front of neck, down to the throat. Brows and forehead aren't part of the package, but you can add brows.
How much is the Smooth Face Package?
Your first visit is $75 and includes a consult (about 45 minutes). After that, the sooner you're back, the less you pay: within 7 days it's $45, 8 to 14 days is $55, 15 to 21 days is $65, and 22 days or more is $75. Return visits take about 30 minutes.
How do you count the days?
We count from the date of your last Smooth Face visit. If you came in on a Monday, the next Monday is day 7, so that visit is $45. The Tuesday after that is day 8, so it's $55. You don't have to keep track. We look it up at checkout.
Which one do I book online?
New to the package? Book First Visit. Been in before? Book Return Visit. We set your price at checkout, so you never have to do the math.
Can I add brows or a tint?
Yes! Add brows for $15, a brow tint for $20, or both for $30. Each add-on takes about 15 minutes. Just ask at the front desk when you check in.
Does waxing treat facial hair growth?
Waxing removes hair. That's it. It doesn't treat any condition. Questions about hormones, hair growth, skin or medications belong with your doctor.
Lashes
How much are lash extensions?
A Classic set is $100 and a Hybrid set is $150. A fill is $75 within 2 weeks of your last lash extension service.
How long does a full set take?
Up to 2 hours, so settle in and get comfy.
Who does lash extensions?
Natali, our lash extension artist, does every set.
What's the difference between classic and hybrid lashes?
Classic is one extension on each natural lash for a soft, natural look. Hybrid mixes classic and volume lashes for a fuller, wispy look that still looks like you.
How much is a lash lift?
A lash lift is $75 and takes about 45 minutes, and everyone on our team does lifts. A lash tint is $33. We don't have a combo price, so book each one you want.
Do I need a patch test?
It's not required. If you're worried about a reaction, just let us know and we can do one first. Some people can react to lash adhesive, and by booking lash extensions you accept that risk.
Teens
Do you wax teens?
Absolutely. Our teen menu is for clients under 17, and we keep it gentle, patient and judgment free for first timers.
Is there a consent form?
Yes. For anyone under 17, a parent or guardian signs a consent form at the salon. If everyone's comfortable, they don't have to stay in the room.
What's on the teen menu?
Brows $25, Lip $18, Sideburns $18, Unibrow Clean Up $15, Girl's Beginner Bikini $48, Lower Half Arms $35, Lower Half Legs $48, Underarms $20, Brow Tint $20 and Lash Tint $25.
Booking & Policies
How do I book?

Do I need to tip?
Nope. We're a no tipping salon. No tip screen, ever. The total is the total.
Do you have memberships or contracts?
No memberships, no contracts, no monthly fee and no prepaying. You pay for each visit when you get it.
What's your cancellation policy?
Life happens. Please give us at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or move your visit. Last-minute cancellations and no-shows are charged 50% of each service scheduled. That applies to every service, lashes included. We give grace whenever we can.
What are your hours?
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 10 to 6, Wednesday 10 to 2, Saturday 8:45 to 5, and closed Sunday.

All sales are final. If something's wrong with your purchase, give us a buzz at (214) 548-4335 or come see us, and we'll do everything we can to make it right.
